Last Thursday, Sean John model Miguel Perdomo known as “the first Dominican Male model”. The Paterson, NJ native was in the building!!!…Here’s some pics and Mini interview..

1. How would you describe your style?

I would describe my style as so laid-back. However, It can be fashion forward. You may catch me in sweats or basketball shorts in the summer on the weekends; but nicely dressed throughout the week.

 2. Where do you like to shop? and why?

 I love to shop at reasonably priced stores such as H&M and Topshop. I like shopping in Soho for some of their low-key stores. Also, vintage stores for good finds. I found some great British trench coats and Combat boots. I’m a regular at Garden State Plaza (NJ). All my favorites stores always let me know when there are some good sales going on.

 3. What brand of clothes do you love?

 My favorite brands are Sean John (fitted only), H&M, I.N.C, Theory, and J.Crew. I would rather skip on high-end brands such as Gucci, LV, and Fendi to avoid looking generic. My weekend gear consist of Jordan brand.

4. What fashion timeline are you inspired by?

  I love the sixties because during the era, everyone looked the same regardless of class. I love the tailored suits from that time period, the movie “Sherlock Holmes” is a great example on how I like to look. My brothers were kind enough to pass down to me The Ralph Lauren Collection which I keep fresh and clean. Of course, Magazines are always a source of inspiration.

5. What from your closet will you pass down to your kids?

I would love to pass down all of my vintage pieces. The Ralph Lauren Collection, my Versace pieces and of course my classic Jordans, not the made up stuff that’s coming out now.

*Bonus. What’s cooking for 2010?

As of now I got acting in the works, more photo shoots, and a lot of fashion shows.
